The Lady Elizabeth Wing

The Lady Elizabeth Wing project has been completed and we are ready for our first event. Welcome for your wedding reception - Mr and Mrs Rock.





The finishing touches

The finishing touches are now being added before our first event tomorrow. The turf is looking greener and the planters have been put in place.

All planted up

Every detail is being thought of for the Lady Elizabeth Wing and this includes the exterior. These large planters have been topped up with soil and planted with structural plants which will be located around the courtyard and line the walkway.

A warm and welcoming space

The lighting in the Lady Elizabeth Wing brings the space to life making the atmosphere warm and welcoming with the opportunity to control which areas are lit to create a different ambience throughout the day and evening.

Adnams on tap!

Adnams have started to install the bar ensuring that guests will have a supply of their favourite tipple on tap.

One week to go!

It's just one week to go until the Lady Elizabeth Wing opens and we cannot wait!

The beginning of a happy relationship

The Lady Elizabeth Wing has received its first stock of beverages courtesy of Adnams brewery who will be providing the bar with its iconic drinks.

The recent good weather has really helped the new turf establish itself in front of the Lady Elizabeth Wing creating a magnificent entrance. 

An amazing space

As the project is nearing completion, it's easy to see that the Lady Elizabeth Wing is a light and airy space, perfect for entertaining!

Chillers going in - just ready for that perfect glass of beer or wine!

A clean, simple yet elegant space

The overall style of the Lady Elizabeth Wing is one of pure simplicity with clean lines, plenty of natural light and contemporary design.

State-of-the-art facilities

To complete the 'experience' of the Lady Elizabeth Wing, a state-of-the-art sound and PA system has been installed enabling the user to simultaneously play music via USB ports or CD's throughout the whole venue as well as using wireless microphones.

The bar takes shape

The bar area of the Lady Elizabeth Wing is a space enviable for its size and facilities. Located in the foyer area as you first enter the building, the bar is ideally located for entertaining guests. The smaller foyer area is also available to hire on its own - perfect for smaller groups and a sense of intimacy.

Fixtures and Fittings

As the countdown continues for the grand opening of the Lady Elizabeth Wing, aspects of the venue are being completed and are ready for guests to enjoy. The style of the Lady Elizabeth Wing is very much contemporary and this includes the taps!

'The grass is always greener...'

It's officially summer time and although it may not feel like it at the moment, the current weather conditions is perfect for the freshly laid lawn in front of the Lady Elizabeth Wing.

Hidden Treasures

The Lady Elizabeth Wing is a happy mix of original features and new contemporary styling. Recently uncovered is this original fireplace adorned with the Ostrich crest.
